AMERICAN vs BRITISH ENGLISH

Hi everyone!
We live in an American world but we learn British English. Isn't it shocking?
At school, we try to study British English both writing and speaking.
However, films (or movies), some of our favourite series and most songs we listen everyday use American English.
Apart from vocabulary, it is important to differenciate their pronunciation. Can you make any differences?
I'm leaving you a poster with some words in both varieties and I invite you to click the link from youtube, where two people compare some words. They speak really clearly, so I'm sure you'll understand. You can also find this video in the right column "My favourite videos" on this page.
I hope you like it!
Have a great week! :)

  4. Perhaps, you find it easier to use the American language because the words are similar to our Spanish words...but remember that we should study British language! It's the purest :)
