Stereotypes are sometimes really funny! We should not believe in them, since each person is unique buuut...you can't deny that people from a specific country share some common characteristics. ♦ Have a look at the chart and enjoy yourself with it! ♦
So... this picture says that Spaniards are not humble!!! Right... no comment :). I really like this picture because it shows very original stereotypes, I didn't know them :). In Spain, people think that Britons are unfriendly. I disagree. At least with me, they have always been very correct. I think that dealing with people correctly is very important for them. I have been to offices, shops, hospitals, banks, and all the employees were kind. I have no complaints. On the other hand, I don't think the same about Spaniards, and I'm a Spaniard, and our reputation is that we are very friendly.
You are right, Carolina. Brits are supposed to be unfriendly and people who never want to interact with foreigners. I'm sure that most Brits are kind and nice to other but...if one finds three or four that are not, we stereotype and generalise. By the way, Spaniards used to be happy, party-loving and extroverted...but nowadays, I would not assert it....
